Details:
SEAS Morris is very excited to announce that we are sponsoring and organizing a week-long bareboat sailing cruise in Greece in September 2027. We will sail out of Lavrion so you would fly to Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos (ATH).
Here are the details:
Dates: September 11-18, 2027
Cost: $1,500 per person
Space is limited: Please do not assume payment automatically gets you on a boat
Includes: boats, provisions, cruise swag, fuel, mooring fees
Does Not Include: Airfare, Hotel, Country fees, Dining Ashore, Trip Insurance
You must be a SEAS member (of any chapter)
You will need a passport that is valid for six months subsequent to the last day of the trip.
There may be a pre or post trip land tour announced at a later date
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation prior to March 11, 2027 (six months) will result in a full refund less $25.
Cancellation subsequent to March 11, 2027 will result in a full refund less $25, only if a replacement is found. A refund will not be issued if a replacement is not found.
Cancellation subsequent to June 11, 2027 (three months) will result in a full refund less $300, only if a replacement is found. A refund will not be issued if a replacement is not found.

Zelle payment to: seasmorris@gmail.com. There may be a Maximum transaction for Zelle, so two transactions may have to be made.
Travel information will be sent out in a shared drive seven months before departure.

Proposed Itineraries (Subject to change):
Itinerary 1 to Mykonos:
Sunday: Short introductory sail to Kea. Afternoon to explore Korissia and prepare for the first full sailing day.
Monday: Sail to Ermoupoli, Syros. Provision, refuel if required, and review the latest weather before deciding whether to continue toward Mykonos.
Tuesday: Early departure to Tourlos Marina. Spend the afternoon and evening exploring Mykonos Town.
Wednesday: Depart Tourlos around sunrise. Sail directly to Kythnos. If weather, sea state and progress permit, make a brief swim or lunch stop at Rineia before continuing to Loutra or Merichas.
Thursday: Short passage from Kythnos to Kea. Relaxed afternoon and final dinner ashore.
Friday: Return to Lavrion with sufficient margin for refueling and charter check-in.
Itinerary 2 – Western Cyclades:
Lavrion → Kea → Syros → Loutra (Kythnos) → Kolona (optional lunch) → Merichas → Kea → Lavrion. This itinerary avoids the exposed Mykonos crossing while providing shorter daily passages and greater flexibility during stronger northerly winds.
