Abaco

Details:

Abaco in the northern Bahamas is one of the best sailing areas in the world, with calm protected waters, barrier islands, and charming Bahamian settlements. The Sea of Abaco provides ideal conditions for island hopping, snorkeling, beach exploring, and visiting colorful seaside villages.

We will pick up the boats in Marsh Harbour, Abaco and spend a week sailing throughout the Sea of Abaco, visiting small cays, turquoise anchorages, and laid-back island towns.

A land tour of other Bahamian islands may be available at a later time. We will share optional activities and excursions that members of the group will be able to join.

The planned itinerary is below. If you have never done a trip like this, it is like glamping. It has fabulous destinations, beautiful water, with cozy quarters while learning to be resourceful sailors. We will get catamarans that are 40–45 ft.
