Exumas
Details:
Due to a change in the charter fleet, our 2027 trip is now going to the Exumas! We were torn between the two beautiful Bahama locations, so fate has made the choice for us.
Our Exumas sailing adventure begins in Nassau, Bahamas, where we will pick up our bareboat charter yachts and provision for the week ahead. From there, we will sail into the beautiful Exuma island chain, known for its crystal-clear turquoise water, white sand beaches, and incredible anchorages.
During the week, we will island hop through the Exumas, enjoying snorkeling, swimming, beach walks, pig beach, the famous Thunderball Grotto, and relaxed evenings at anchor. With short sailing passages and breathtaking scenery throughout the islands, this trip offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation in one of the world’s most beautiful cruising destinations.
The planned itinerary is below. If you have never done a trip like this, it is like glamping. It has fabulous destinations, beautiful water, with cozy quarters while learning to be resourceful sailors. We will get catamarans that are 40–45 ft.
Dates: March 6 – 13
Cost: $1,500 per person
Includes: boats, mooring fees, cleaning, linens, towels, snorkel gear. Provision budgets are adjusted based on boat cost.
Does Not Include: Provisioning, Airfare, Hotel, Bahamas entry fees, Dining Ashore, Insurance (we recommend DAN Trip Insurance).
